Greenwood surfacing’s resin bound system is comprised of graded aggregates bound with a clear polyurethane resin binder, which allows the aggregate colour to show through.

The durability of resin bound surfacing will depend on site conditions and it is anticipated that the surface will have a similar service life to that of the conventional bituminous macadam made with the same aggregate.

Sustainable urban drainage system (SUDS).

The environmental agency has recognised the need to manage water run off from hard surfacing. Our resin bound surfacing system is permeable and if laid onto a permeable surface such as open textured macadam (tarmac), it will prevent standing water and encourage rapid drainage to the underlying ground.
